Set your compass!

True North 

Were you aware that there are several different definitions of North?  Each one slightly varying from the other not only in concept, but also physically.  What I mean by that is True North (Geodetic/Geographic north), Magnetic North, and Grid North each will take you on a slightly different path North perhaps a few degrees apart from one another. You will end up "North", but not in the same spot.

Going North can mean going to the North along the surface of the earth, going North can mean following a magnetic compass's heading North, or following a map's projection along gridlines North.  

How do you know which North is True?  How do you know which one to follow?

In these days and times, it is important to establish what is TRUE so you know which way to FOLLOW.
