The Battle Plan! (Part 2)
Before a battle you MUST acknowledge the reality of the situation you are in before you can determine a decisive strategy,
The reality of the current situation is that we are in a Post Truth, Post America, Post Religion, Post Constitution time in history. This is exactly the kind of environment where totalitarianism will flourish.
The enemies of Truth want us to keep wistfully looking back over our shoulder to what "used to be good" and hoping that we will return to that which was normal. The truth of the matter is that the global elites want power and control over everything, not just America, but the entire globe.
They are currently using COVID 19 to usher us into the cattle stall they want us in. Taking away freedoms that we used to have protected by the Constitution. However, with the Constitution in tatters and Washington in a complete melt down, those who want the United States out of the picture so they can seize global power are having a hey day. They call it the Global Reset. I call it evil and Totalitarian as do others both in the secular world from comedians to economists and in the non-secular world both Catholic and Protestant.
What do we do? Where can we regular people with no status and no power look for our hand hold?
True North. By putting our Spiritual Goggles on, we will be able to properly assess what to do and how to prepare for what is coming.
Let's look at an example from 2 Chronicles 20 to give us insight.
Jehoshaphat saw the amassing army who would be advancing on the Jewish people to surely desimante them.
Some people came and told Jehoshaphat, “A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Dead Sea. It is already in Hazezon Tamar” (that is, En Gedi)." 2 Chronicles 20:2
1) Called a fast and prayed with all of the people.
Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him. 2 Chronicles 20: 3-4
2) He and his people cried out to God.
"Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord.2 Chronicles 20:12-133) God gave him the battle plan which he faithfully enacted.
God's direction for action in the physical realm:
Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”
Worship ensues:
Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord. Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.
Action carried out in faith based on what they heard:
Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his[c] holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:This is our moment to admit that we see the advancing army, but don't know what to do.
“Give thanks to the Lord,
for his love endures forever.”
As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped. So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it. 2 Chronicles 14 - 26
We must begin to fast and pray for direction against the rising Totalitarian Global State. What is coming will be a conflagration that we have not seen in our lifetimes or even our parent's lifetimes. The time of Lent through Pentacost is going to be critical.
Start here, my friend!
1. Recognize the situation we are in and take it to the Lord.-- He will answer.
2. Get your tribe together. -- Who are the people that you can count on to pray you through? Who are the people who will back you up both spiritually and physically? Make a list of people to join with you in praying and physically preparing to withstand evil times.
3. Fast, pray, and prepare.--We are calling a time of fasting, praying and preparation. Beginning Wednesday, February 17th through Sunday, May 23rd. We will be fasting using the Daniel Fast, seeking God's face in corporate prayer weekly via Zoom on Wednesdays, and making preparations to be ready using Google Classroom.
Zoom information and Google Classrom access will be granted via email. Comment below if you wish to be added to the lists.
